We rarely complain about too much sun, and certainly won’t now. On a recent trip to Kauai (the
rainy Garden Isle), the weather was so good we had almost too much light for photos. A problem we hope to have again. But we did manage to wake up early one morning to beat the sun and get some photos of the local flora. There is so much to see, this is just a taste. We hope you enjoy it. Aloha.
I am seeing the Frangipani flowers after a long time!! They were my favorites back in India 🙂
Thank you! Lovely photographs!
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic photography! So many vibrant colors in nature, it almost boggles the mind,
Thanks…nature gives us plenty to work with…
Yes it truly does!
oh, the colors!!!!!
And the sun! A rare thing on the “garden isle”
What can I say ! Fantastic all fantastic.
Thanks! Hawaii makes it easy (sometimes).
How beautiful. I can smell them from here! 🙂
Hi. Thanks! It would be nice if we had Plumeria in Norcal…always makes us smile…
What are those white flowers with the pink stems sticking up with the yellow pollen thing? (Ha ha — I’m so articulate!) I’ve never seen anything like it before. What kind of a fragrance does it have?
I have to say that we don’t know (somewhat embarrassed). But we will find out. They are everywhere near the beach in Hawaii. Little fragrance, but beautiful…
I imagine that most of these beauties are fragrant too. Lucky you!
The plumeria are just wonderful…can’t get enough of them.
You’re making me homesick for my daughter’s ‘native habitat’. We lived in Hawaii when she was 8 months to over 4 yrs old, and a year or so later a hula halau came to do a presentation at her school. She cried all the way home that afternoon, because she missed her ‘native habitat’.
Thanks. I can smell the plumeria in my memory.
Hi- glad you enjoyed it! We miss Hawaii already… 😉
Great pictures, I LOVE the first photo! 🙂
Thanks! Most appreciated…
